DLL announces formalization of its Executive Board

DLL, a global provider of asset based financing solutions, announced today that in an ongoing effort to consistently improve the effectiveness of its organization its Executive Board has been formalized. After the appointment of Chief Executive Officer Bill Stephenson in June 2014, Rob van Zadelhoff has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer and Carlo van Kemenade will take up the role of Chief Operational Officer.

Bill Stephenson, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board says: “I am pleased to announce the formalization of our board which reinforces our focus on simplicity, accountability and our customers. With the appointment of Rob van Zadelhoff and Carlo van Kemenade as respectively CCO and COO I am convinced we have a highly experienced and strong team in place ready to lead our company to the next level. We will continue focusing on strong long-term partnerships, global footprint, specialized asset knowledge, and operational efficiency”.

Although Rob van Zadelhoff joined DLL in 2014 as Chief Commercial Officer the regulatory authorities (DNB) have now officially approved Van Zadelhoff’s appointment. As CCO he will lead DLL’s commercial strategy across 36 countries around the globe and will be based at the Eindhoven Headquarters.

Van Zadelhoff, law graduate, has served in a number of international key senior positions within Rabobank since 1991. The last 17 years he lived and worked in several countries around the world. From 2007 to 2011 Van Zadelhoff worked in Singapore where he was responsible for the strategy and management of Rabobank’s activities in Asia. Most recently he was Chief Commercial Officer West in the Management Team Rural & Retail of Rabobank International, responsible for its activities in North and South America.

"I always admired the entrepreneurial spirit of the company, liked the people I met and enjoyed exploiting synergies between Rabobank and DLL. Carlo van Kemenade, within the company for 25 years and member of the Executive Board of DLL since March 2013, was most recently responsible for DLL's activities in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and Argentina. He has held various senior management positions since joining DLL in 1990 and has broad experience across all relevant fields of the organization. He is a graduate as well as an MBA from Nyenrode Business University where he was awarded Student of the Year status as well as Valedictorian. Carlo van Kemenade has specialized in providing leadership and change management in a multicultural, globalizing environment.

Within my role as COO I will mainly focus on IT and operational excellence to be able to anticipate on the fast changing world around us which ultimately benefits our customers business”.

Frans Overdijk will continue his role as Chief Financial & Risk Officer since 2013 and is also a Member of the Executive Board. Overdijk has primary responsibility for Group Finance & Control, Risk, Treasury, Tax and Mergers & Acquisitions. He joined DLL in 2010 as Chief Financial Officer. Before this position, Overdijk was Chief Financial and Risk Officer for Rabobank subsidiary FGH Bank. He has been active for various Rabobank organizations since 1982. Overdijk is Chairman of Rabo Groenbank Supervisory Board., a subsidiary of Rabobank that focuses on 'green investments'.
