DLL UK (formerly De Lage Landen) was named Vendor Specialist of the Year by LeasingWorld magazine, a prestigious UK-based trade publication for leasing and asset finance professionals. This award recognizes the company’s exceptional ability to understand the heart and soul of their partners’ business and find original solutions that will sustain success for their partners and their customers for generations. DLL delivers original, integrated financial solutions that support the full asset life cycle from leasing, vendor and commercial finance to end of lease and remarketing.
The Award was presented to UK country manager Duncan Hullis on October 1st at the Leasing World Gala Awards Dinner, held at the prestigious One Whitehall Place in Westminster, London.
Strong partnerships and growth
A number of high profile global brands have chosen Vendor Lease Partnerships with DLL because of their approach and commitment to understanding partners and ability to deliver flexible solutions that complement their partners’ businesses and add value to their sales processes. This Award also recognizes the strong double digit growth that DLL has experienced over the past four years. The company has outperformed the sector and its peers and has clear leadership positions in several key markets – Healthcare, Material Handling and Food & Agriculture. In 2012, DLL was ranked as the 3rd best performing leasing company by Leaseurope.
As part of their efforts to establish a stronger, clearer market presence, De Lage Landen, a global provider of asset based financial solutions, evolved their brand name to DLL in September 2014. A new logo and the tagline ‘See what counts’ support this transition, reflecting a journey of growth and success. Bill Stephenson, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board of DLL says. “Our new brand reflects how many of our stakeholders including customers, suppliers and employees see this company and value the long term- relationship we have.”
