Car leasing solutions to satisfy car lovers
TMC employs a lot of mechanical engineers, megatronics experts and software engineers who are intimately involved in the automotive industry. Over the years TMC has worked on the SmartTMC Highway in Holland, supported student solar race teams and has an ongoing high-profile sponsorship with Dutch racecar driver Niels Langeveld. And there’s the company’s tagline: It’s people who drive technology.

In other words, for TMC a car is not a car. Total mobility solution
TMC gave Athlon the freedom to interpret what it means by fun, and Athlon responded by linking the TMC lease program to the company’s racing activities and to its sponsorship of Niels Langeveld’s racing team. Athlon even invited Langeveld to the launch of their program without TMC knowing in advance.

Stickering to car sharing Athlon specifically tailored its total mobility subscription solution to TMC’s 600 ‘employeurs’ – they are half employees, half entrepreneurs. They choose from a fleet of Renault Clio’s and Twingo’s with discounted add-ons for stickering and upgrades. In addition to services, repairs and insurance, the contract also includes a ‘community sharing clause’ that encourages TMC employees to share their cars with their families, friends and neighbors.

Crossing new borders
As TMC continues to expand into new markets like Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and the US, Athlon’s lease program will likely follow and help them attract new talent there. “Entrepreneurial passion, the entire Athlon team has it,” says TMC’s Van Beek. “Offering our ‘employeurs’ cars is part of our international remuneration policy, and Athlon understands what we mean when we talk cars.”
