DLL’s Global Intralogistics Team Expands in Australia
Jul 14, 2022
Steven Davey, an experienced member of the DLL team, will now also focus on Intralogistics asset finance support for equipment suppliers and end-users. He will also work with system integrators, supply chain consultants and real estate developers to provide businesses access to tailored finance solutions right from the start of their automation journey.
“Customer expectations of logistics fulfillment are growing, putting companies under pressure to deliver ‘Amazon’ level turnaround times through automation in their warehousing operations,” explains Steven. “We’re here to partner with businesses to ensure they don’t get left behind and can invest in automation projects of any scale.”
“We are seeing acceleration in automation in Australia and New Zealand and we are uniquely positioned to help finance all the assets needed to make this transition – from installation, software, and training, through to equipment such as picking, shuttle and sortation systems, or AGVs and AMRs,” he continues.
Rather than financing different parts of a project via various means, the DLL team acts as a single partner for all automation financing requirements. Even for complex projects, this end-to-end capability makes investing in future technologies simpler.
These capabilities also benefit vendors and suppliers. Partnering with DLL helps overcome friction within the sales process, enabling businesses to complete their order without finance becoming the final hurdle.
Our extensive experience worldwide means we have refined the process of investing in automation assets. The credit and documentation process are therefore much more straightforward, and faster."
Steven is part of a specialist local team that collectively has over 100 years of experience in financing assets for the supply chain and forging long-term partnerships that make automation a more affordable investment. In addition, customers benefit from the global expertise of DLL in the intralogistics space.
“Our extensive experience worldwide means we have refined the process of investing in automation assets. The credit and documentation process are therefore much more straightforward, and faster,” says Steven.
To further support businesses in Australia, Steven and his colleague Dan Eames will be attending CEMAT Australia from 19-21 July at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Dan is General Manager – DLL Equipment Finance with significant experience of creating bespoke finance packages for international businesses that are investing in automation.
“Whether you’re an SME or multi-national company, we would love to connect with you at CEMAT to discuss how DLL can support your investments in the acquisition of automated assets to improve efficiencies and future-ready your business. “This includes automation solutions, but also assets for sustainable warehouse transformations, such as electric materials handling equipment and solar panels or LED-Lightning which are becoming more important to businesses or warehouse operators with strong green objectives,” Dan continues.
CEMAT Australia is an international trade fair for materials handling, intralogistics, and supply chain management. It is an ideal forum to explore automation solutions and involve DLL in the conversation about finance from the outset.
