Saminda Sidar plays a pivotal role in the Asset Sales team, specialising in technology and healthcare equipment including laptops, phones, and fitness equipment. With over six years at DLL and a strong foundation in customer service, Saminda brings a proactive, relationship-driven approach to every customer interaction.

Her day-to-day work involves managing end-of-term contract options, coordinating equipment returns, and working closely with remarketing partners to secure the best value for assets. Saminda also leads on repossessions and is instrumental in onboarding new IT asset disposal (ITAD) providers, ensuring data security, environmental compliance, and seamless service for customers.

What sets Saminda apart is her ability to connect the dots across departments and markets. Whether collaborating with legal, asset management, or international sales teams, she consistently finds innovative solutions that maximise value and minimise loss for customers. Her hands-on approach, visiting ITAD sites, negotiating directly with suppliers, and staying close to the equipment lifecycle, ensures she delivers practical, informed advice that customers can trust.

Saminda’s background in complaints handling and customer service has shaped her into a confident communicator and skilled negotiator. She’s known for picking up the phone to resolve issues quickly and personally, building strong, lasting relationships with customers and partners.

Currently completing her Asset Finance Diploma, Saminda is committed to deepening her industry knowledge and continuing to grow in her role. Outside of work, she’s passionate about fitness and enjoys trying new sports, from boxing to padel and Pilates.
