Van den Heuvel was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) and member of the Executive Board of DLL in May 2026. In this capacity he is responsible for the company’s country organizations.

Van den Heuvel is a dynamic, strategic, and well-balanced leader with an accomplished track record in the financial services industry and extensive experience leading global, cross-functional teams. Since joining DLL in 2001, he has held a series of senior leadership positions across Risk, Finance, Asset Management, Remarketing, and Insurance. He subsequently spent nearly six years with AGCO Finance, DLL’s global financing cooperation with AGCO Corporation, serving first as General Manager AGCO Finance Europe and later as Global Head and CEO of AGCO Finance.

Prior to joining DLL’s Executive Board, he served as General Manager Europe, where he held end-to-end responsibility for the region’s operations across 16 countries, driving business performance, strategic growth, and organizational leadership throughout Europe.

Van den Heuvel holds a Master’s degree in Econometrics and Operational Research from Tilburg University (NL). More recently, he furthered his education with an MBA from TiAS Business School in Tilburg (NL) and two Strategy Programs at Wharton Business School in Philadelphia (US).
