DLL Becomes First Lender to Finance Project in California GoGreen Financing Small Business Program

The California Hub for Energy Efficiency Financing (CHEEF) and its GoGreen Financing program confirmed the approval of its inaugural Small Business Financing project, with DLL providing the project financing for the end user.

The customer, a private dairy farmer seeking to update lighting and install well pump variable frequency drives, enrolled in July, becoming the first-ever project financed under the program since its limited launch earlier this year. Through its enrollment in the program, the customer can expect a total operating savings of more than $130,000 per year, according to the installing contractor.

“We are proud to partner on GoGreen Financing’s first project under the Small Business Financing program, supporting a California business as it upgrades its operations to become more energy efficient,” said Dave Ingram, U.S. sales manager at DLL. “This is a monumental step in helping small businesses realize how they can reduce their environmental footprint without the upfront cost barrier, as well as helping California meet its energy goals.”
