Procurement and Suppliers

Group Procurement is DLL’s central procurement team and the main contact point for our suppliers. We support the full supplier onboarding process—from market research and selection to negotiations and contract finalization.

We value respectful and transparent collaboration and expect the same from our suppliers. These shared principles help build strong working relationships. We also encourage suppliers to align with DLL’s approach to responsible and sustainable business practices.

Supplier registration

We use Fusion to manage our supplier relationships and contract processes. It helps us work efficiently and keep information organized.

If you’ll be working with us, you’ll receive an email from DLL inviting you to register in Fusion.

All data shared through Fusion is handled securely. The privacy and the protection of personal data is important to DLL. For more details how we collect and use personal data and meet our data protection obligations see our Privacy statement.

Sustainable Procurement

We expect our suppliers to conduct their business responsibly, with respect for people and the environment throughout their operations.

The Rabobank Sustainability Policy Framework outlines the approach that both Rabobank and DLL follow in sustainable procurement. DLL expects its suppliers to understand and act in line with its Sustainability Statement for Suppliers.

Sustainability Rating

Sustainability is part of all our sourcing activities, including Requests for Information (RFIs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs). To assess (potential) suppliers on Sustainability, we can use an independent sustainability rating provider. This gives us insight into how suppliers perform compared to industry benchmarks across four key areas:

  • Environment
  • Labor & human rights
  • Ethics
  • Sustainable procurement

The resulting score is one of the factors we consider when selecting suppliers.

We also include a reference to DLL’s Sustainability Statement for suppliers in our contracts, asking suppliers to align with our sustainability standards and policies. This declaration includes how DLL intends to contribute to Sustainability, not only through our own initiatives, but also through our suppliers. The Statement includes DLL's acceptance and exclusion requirements for our suppliers.

Supplier Management

At DLL, we expect our suppliers to deliver safe products and services that meet current information security standards. Suppliers are required to ensure compliance with Dutch, European and other applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, including those from De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), the European Central Bank (ECB) and the European Banking Authority (EBA).

The usage of standard contracts in all procurement processes help DLL to meet these requirements. We proactively manage supplier risks by concentrating on key areas, including but not limited to the following:

  • Assessing corruption risks;
  • Identifying potential conflicts of interest;
  • Checking financial stability;
  • Evaluating risks related to the delivery of goods or services and the measures in place to reduce them.

More details about our risk assessments can be requested via procurement@dllgroup.com.
