Logistics service provider TSN Groen has taken a significant step towards fleet sustainability in collaboration with Bluekens EV and DLL. By investing in six electric BYD trucks, they are pushing towards the reduction of emissions in urban logistics.
A Shared Vision for Sustainability
TSN Groen specializes in last-mile logistics, delivering furniture and related items across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. With a strong focus on sustainability, TSN Groen aims to not only provide environmentally friendly transport, but also to make its entire operations more CO₂-neutral by using solar energy, having their own EV Charging Infrastructure in place and implementing energy storage solutions, thereby creating a positive impact on society lowering their emissions. “Our goal is to demonstrate that business and sustainability can go hand in hand—and to inspire others in the process,” says Andries Vlot, Managing Director of TSN Groen.
Bluekens, a family-owned company with a 200-year history, is a pioneer in electric vehicles. With the launch of Bluekens EV in 2019 and the “Zero Emission Knowledge Center” in Breda (Netherlands), Bluekens offers innovative solutions for reduced emission urban logistics. “We believe that innovation and the right approach are key to the success for more sustainable logistics solutions,” says Gert-Jan Jonker, General Manager of Bluekens EV.
