Meet Alessia Lombardo! We are delighted to announce that she is our new DLL Head of Fleet Solutions for Western, Southern, and Eastern Europe.
In December 2021, Alessia took on the role, to bring new expertise and lead the team providing customized financing solutions for businesses with large fleets.
Alessia was previously an International Program Manager with DLL in the CT&I (Construction, Transport and Industrial) business unit, and will already be well known by many of the manufacturers and dealers that DLL works with. She has been part of DLL since first joining in 2012 in a Business Controller role and continues to be based in Milan, Italy.
In 2022, we are excited that Alessia will be working on several new proactive initiatives for Fleet Solutions, focused on ensuring optimal customer experience and developing an even greater understanding of the industries that DLL’s customers operate in. However, she will also be continuing program management responsibilities for a number of key projects relating to the automation and robotics sector.
“My focus will be on helping companies to get control of their fleet equipment costs and improve fleet efficiency with customized finance solutions,” says Alessia.
“Our motto in Fleet Solutions is ‘We’re with you all the way’ showing our commitment to helping businesses to tackle their fleet equipment challenges,” she says. “In my new role, I am focused on ensuring that our end users and our vendor partners know the many different ways we can help finance their investments and equipment across global locations.”
Alessia’s end-user focus and vendor program background combine, offering big advantages to customers.
For instance, she is already collaborating with her team to develop solutions for financing multiple brands and asset types, across multiple sites, in different geographies, for the same customer. This provides the full support needed across the whole fleet, making things simple and cost effective for the end user.
At the other end of the scale, she and her team deliver tailored and accessible finance packages for those looking to effectively finance just part of a warehouse or production facility with just a single vendor partner. This gives particular support to those customers looking to automate parts of their operations, but without large upfront purchase costs.
